The superfoods you described are maybe all new to us but they have been known for centuries in other countries which have healthy people with healthy habits. Yes that is very true, they have been used in many cultures for generations even though some of us may be hearing about them for the first time.

      Yes, I regularly use these superfoods in my cooking and often enjoy cacao in my oatmeal or a hot cocoa and add baobab, maca and chia seeds to my smoothies. I find that they give me the energy boost I need before a morning run and they are super tasty too!

  2. This is a really handy list of superfoods and how they can benefit you. I’ve used some in the past, but hadn’t heard of a few before. I especially love your comments about cacao. Everyone always talks about how bad chocolate is and how you need to stop eating it for all kinds of reasons, but that’s only because the main ingredients in chocolate are sugar and milk, not cocoa. You don’t have to give up the part of chocolate that actually tastes good, just limit the sugar and dairy.
